Job Purpose
To support and execute strategies for the promotion and marketing of Ugandan audio-visual multimedia content, facilitate public engagement and participation in the media landscape, and contribute to the development of a vibrant, competitive, and sustainable local audio-visual industry in line with the mandate of the Uganda Communications Commission. |

Education and Professional Qualifications
The candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in any of the following fields: Mass Communication, Marketing, Media Studies, Journalism and Communication, Public Relations, Film and Television Production, or any other related field from a recognized institution. Professional training or certification in any of the following areas shall be an added advantage: Digital Marketing, Branding and Communications, Public Relations, Social Media Management, Event Management, Marketing Analytics, Content Marketing. Membership to a relevant professional body shall be an added advantage. |
Working Experience
At least two (2) years’ relevant working experience in content promotion, marketing, media, communications, public relations, branding, creative industries, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in marketing and promotional campaigns, event coordination and stakeholder engagement, digital and social media marketing, public communication and audience engagement, and preparation of promotional and communication materials. Experience working with media organizations, broadcasters, creative industry institutions, regulatory bodies, advertising agencies, or development partners shall be an added advantage. |
